Ty’s memory blows my mind on a daily basis. He remember so many things that me and Craig have to think about before we can even remember what he’s talking about! Just yesterday he had two incidents, the first one was when he was playing with a cardboard box and asked if he could make a toboggan out of it. I said we could try, but how did he want to do it. He said like we did in Rankin. I just looked at him and said what?? He actually remembered when him and Anakha had a box in Rankin and made a boat out of it and played with it for weeks. That would be over 3 years ago. He wasn’t even 2! I’d say he’s seen pictures, but I don’t know where he would have seen them. And then while we were getting ready for Beavers we asked him if he had any idea where his hat was, because we hadn’t seen it for a couple of months. He said yes, it’s in my jacket pocket. Craig said no he had checked all the pockets already. Well. Later when the kids were in bed, just out of curiosity Craig went back and checked all the pockets again. Sure enough, there it was! But it was in Ty’s Canada Goose, which he’s only worn twice so far this year, so it wasn’t checked before. But that little boy knew exactly where he had put it! Here he is in his first boat:
